This is normal. Now after you try pumping the brakes up and the pedal keeps going to the floor, then you either have a leak somewhere or the.Particles in the brake fluid is not a good thing.

After working on brakes always pump the pedal to take up pad/shoe travel first with the engine off. If you don't get a firm pedal the reinspect.I wouldn't have used it the way it was, that's for sure.

It sounds like you might have popped the pistons out of the cylinder bores, allowing the fluid to leak out. The seal might still be OK. You.Accept all cookies Customize settings.

Could be several things. 1) You didn't bleed the brakes correctly and air got into the system at the master cylinder. You'll need to re-bleed them. Make sure.Bedding in simply transfers pad material to the rotor if done correctly to enhance braking ability.

Post by Pauloil » Tue Mar 23, am i'd get rebuilt calipers and a pressure bleeder, and then bleed the system no way fluid should leak out when replacing the pads alone, unless the caliper is bad or damaged.
